Project Management
LES uses the PRINCE2 methodology to develop and implement project management and engineering management plans. LES provides Project Management Services to Defence, Defence contractors and civil industry. Our resources allow a rapid response to customer requirements. Our completed projects include:
- The management, development & conduct of a Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) review of the DH4 Caribou Aircraft and production of revised Technical Maintenance Plan (TMP) and Planned Servicing Schedule (PSS) to enhance reliability and reduce costs to support the aircraft to its LifeOf Type (LOT).
- The management, development and implementation of a software interface to validate and export MIL-STD-1388-2B data to populate the List Of Configuration and Authorised Spares (LOCAS) element of the Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2) information systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN).
- The management and implementation of a project to conduct a ‘Level of Repair Analysis’ (LORA) on the Australian ANZAC Class Frigates. To aid the analysis, LES developed a LORA Software tool and populated it with valid data in-accordance-with MIL-STD-1390. The resulting database provides the basis for developing maintenance policy for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and assists the contractor to conduct a Life Cycle Costing (LCC) analysis to support Through Life Support (TLS) considerations.
- The management of an audit on the ILS deliverables of a major acquisition project for a Defence contractor.
